I am starting to love shorter coverage and elopement weddings more and more. I work a lot in South West Scotland but virtually never in Gretna, so its a real treat to head back up there to get my annual fix of pipers, scottie dogs and shortbread.
The venue however is lovely and heading up early to have a gander at the historical bits related to the Blacksmiths really is worth doing. Time is short there at only 30 mins for a wedding and a little time afterwards for a few shots outside before heading off to Trigony near Dumfries. Trigony is a gorgeous little place which caters for small post weddding meals and produces excellent food. The grounds have a ton of locations for images with a lovely little wild area at the rear and some awesome wooden sculptures.
I am also rebranding my site which you may have noticed at the bottom of the images. More about that at a later date. Nothing but a name change folks, but I wanted things to become a little more personal and also to be able to put my name to all of my work the I am so proud of.
